St Joseph's School Tranmere is one of five schools participating in the CESA initiative, Innovative Approach to the Teaching and Learning of Languages and Culture.
After visiting Melbourne to see different models put into practice, the school has adopted the Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) approach. This approach is currently implemented in the Year 1/2 History and Geography curriculum areas where those subjects are taught in Italian. St Joseph's will be an exemplar of the teaching of Integrated Learning.
