Netball Primary 3 – 31/8/19:  We played our final game for this season against St Joseph’s Memorial, who were first on the ladder and undefeated so far.  We played well, matching their passes and goals, and our goal scorers Lily, Leila and Marcus, ensured that our score remained close.  Unfortunately, we lost the match 11-7 but improved our goal loss ratio since the last game.  A huge thank you to the dedication and enthusiasm of all players this season.  There has been a marked improvement in their skills and this has ensured our success.  Thanks for being a great team, you should all feel very proud of your efforts – Stella, Lily, Mia, Leila, Michaela, Adriana, Aleah and Marcus.  A huge thanks to the support of our parents who assisted with providing fruit and lollies, and for scoring our games.  Go Tigers!     Coach Camille Varricchio.

Netball Sub-Junior 5 – 31/8/19:  We played our final game for the season against the Comets, who are first on the ladder and are undefeated so far.  This was always going to be a tough game, however we matched their skill and goal scorers, Lana, Alessia and Sofia, ensured that our goals remained consistent.  All players gave their all, playing the best of the whole season.  By the final quarter, we were up by two goals and it looked promising.  The team managed to keep the opposition goal-less and we won the match 16-15.  This was a huge achievement by our team, although it was bittersweet, as it was their last game for St Joseph’s Tranmere.  A huge thank you to the team that has played together for many years – Ella D.,  Lana,  Asha, Siena, Chelsea, Tina, Ella P., Sofia, Alessia and Monique.  You should all be proud of your achievements and playing such a memorable game before heading into high school.  We are thankful to our parents who support us week after week, and season after season.  We are so lucky to have such a great bunch of people supporting the team and us as coaches.  We wish all players the best going forward in their future endeavours and hope to keep in touch in the future.  Go Tigers!     Coaches Lizzy Trasente and Camille Varricchio.
