At the end of this term the Pink Slip First Aid notification system will be replaced.
Catholic Schools are gradually changing over to an online system which records information about the student including emergency contact numbers and medical information relevant to the school concerning any allergies and serious conditions, etc.
As a part of this transition, First Aid incidents will be recorded using this system and the records will become a part of your child’s school data.
From Term 3, if your child suffers any minor injuries requiring First Aid which are considered serious enough for notification, i.e. not for minor band aid issues, you will receive an email the same day.
If your child suffers any serious injury you will be contacted immediately in the same way as currently, generally by a telephone call to the emergency contacts.
There will be no change in the way your child will be treated in the event of an injury - the only change will be the method of notification.
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact our Senior First Aider, Glenda Barone.
